Job Summary: As a Senior Developer at Equifax, you will oversee and steer the delivery of innovative batch and data products, primarily leveraging Java and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your expertise will ensure the efficient and timely deployment of high quality data solutions that support our business objectives and client needs. Key Responsibilities: Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality. Able to write, debug, and troubleshoot code in mainstream open source technologies. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
