Job Description Cloud Native Platform Engineer (SRE | Kubernetes | Go | Python) Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad Experience: 9- 12 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cloud Native Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Kubernetes, Go (Golang), and Python. In this role, you will design, build, and manage scalable Kubernetes-based platforms while driving automation, platform reliability, and operational excellence across enterprise environments. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to deliver highly available, cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and enhance Kubernetes-based platform solutions. - Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators and Controllers using Go (Golang). - Develop automation tools and frameworks using Python and Go to improve platform scalability and efficiency. - Drive cloud-native platform engineering initiatives and implement industry best practices. - Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems and containerized environments. - Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability. - Collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams to deliver secure and scalable platform services. - Contribute to platform governance, operational excellence, and automation initiatives. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications - 912 years of overall IT experience. - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based platforms. - Strong programming experience in Go (Golang) and Python. - Hands-on expertise in developing Kubernetes Operators and Controllers. - Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture, containers, and cloud-native technologies. - Experience with Docker and container orchestration. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed systems. - Experience supporting and managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters. - Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience working in Agile development environments. Preferred Skills - Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps, or Terraform. - Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd. - Experience with cloud security, platform governance, and infrastructure automation. - SRE mindset with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, automation, and operational excellence. .
