Job Description:Job Title: IB Divisional Control Office Assurance / CDA, AVP/VP Location: Mumbai, India Role Description You will be joining the Control Assurance and Risk Identification Team in the Investment Banks Divisional Controls Office (DCO). DCO is responsible for the global control environment across IB and is closely aligned with the business, providing central oversight for Front Office (FO) control framework activities, including design, implementation, ongoing assurance/validation of key FO owned controls.The purpose of the Team is to provide the Investment Bank (IB) with assurance that the Non- Financial Risk control framework is effective. The Team is responsible for testing the design and operating effectiveness of IB Front Office (FO) owned key controls and executing detection tests to stress test the operating effectiveness of key controls.What well offer you As part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that youll enjoy Best in class leave policyGender neutral parental leaves100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit (gender neutral)Sponsorship for Industry relevant certifications and educationEmployee Assistance Program for you and your family membersComprehensive Hospitalization Insurance for you and your dependentsAccident and Term life InsuranceComplementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and aboveYour key responsibilities DCO Assurance and control testing Work closely with Business Controls team, Non-Financial Risk Management team and Front Office for the development of assurance / testing plan for the divisionUndertake Design Effectiveness (DE) and Operational Effectiveness (OE) Testing of Front Office owned or operated controls and suggesting remediation actionsDrafting assurance workpapers and publishing detailed testing reportsWalkthrough of the assurance finding, with senior stakeholders and control ownersDeliver high quality Global Governance decks and reporting trends to support the controls oversightDevelops a good understanding of the audit methodology for testing, monitoring and oversight of controls to conclude on effectiveness of controlsLiaise with 2LOD on various initiatives including framework and policy developmentsDCO - Control Design Authority (CDA) Perform Quality Assurance on design of Key Controls prior to CDA Forum, by assessing whether the proposed control designs effectively mitigate the risk on a sustainable basisAssess whether a control needs to be bought to CDA for approvalGuide Finding / Control Owners as to what an effective and sustainable control entailsProvide advice and training on control design principlesYour skills and experience Strong understanding of control principles and Non-Financial Risk.
