Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. This role is designed to develop future Cloud Operations Engineers. The successful candidate will begin by supporting AWS FinOps and cloud optimization initiatives, before progressively taking on ownership of cloud operations, automation, infrastructure management, platform engineering, and end-to-end incident resolution. How will you make an impact: Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation, monitoring, maintenance, automation, and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure and hybrid Windows/Linux environments. This includes troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing timely resolutions to maintain system stability and performance. Also focus on AWS cost optimization (FinOps), cloud governance, resource utilization analysis, and cost reporting, while building foundational knowledge of cloud operations. As technical expertise develops, responsibilities will expand to include cloud operations support, incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), platform operations, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies, AWS, automation, Python development, infrastructure operations, troubleshooting complex systems, and continuous improvement. What you'll need (Required): Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management System) Required with 2 to 4 years of work Experience. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions What else we look for: Knowledge of AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, AWS Systems Manager, and Lambda etc. Python scripting and automation skills is must. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts using Terraform is must. Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems is must. Understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud operations concepts. Understanding in AWS cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices. Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, and Git version control concepts. Understanding of Git branching strategies and collaborative development workflows. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. Familiarity configuration management and Ansible or Tanium. Basic understanding of container technologies and container scanning/security practices. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong communication and documentation skills.
