The RoleOpenTrain is seeking a Civil Rights AI Evaluation Attorney for a part-time contractor opportunity. You will work with civil rights legal materials, explain complex doctrine, develop realistic legal scenarios, and assess model-generated outputs for accuracy, legal soundness, ethical compliance, and practical usefulness. This opportunity is designed for a practicing civil rights attorney. Prior AI experience is not required; the work relies on demonstrated civil rights expertise and the ability to apply sound legal judgment to generated scenarios and model outputs. Contractor and part-time engagement20+ hours per weekWorldwide opportunityEnglish-language work$140$400 per hourWhat You'll DoReview, analyze, and annotate legal documents and civil rights case studies.Develop clear explanations of legal concepts, statutes, precedents, and regulatory frameworks.Draft and refine realistic civil rights scenarios, user queries, and legal responses.Evaluate AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, legal soundness, ethical compliance, and practical usefulness.Provide constructive, specific feedback to improve AI-generated responses.Research and summarize emerging trends, case law updates, and policy developments affecting civil rights.Apply careful standards for accuracy, clarity, ethical compliance, and practical applicability.Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with stakeholders and technical collaborators.Required QualificationsJuris Doctor degree.Active bar membership in the United States.Substantial civil rights law practice experience, including litigation or policy analysis.Familiarity with landmark civil rights cases, federal and state statutes, and regulatory frameworks.Strong legal research, statutory interpretation, analytical reasoning, and critical-thinking skills.Ability to evaluate AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, legal soundness, and ethical compliance.Ability to synthesize complex legal information and present it accessibly to diverse audiences.Exceptional written and verbal communication with close attention to detail.Helpful BackgroundAn interest in technology, artificial intelligence, and innovative approaches to legal problem-solving is helpful. Attorneys without prior AI experience are welcome to apply when they bring the required civil rights expertise and legal judgment.
