About the Role We're looking for a customer-focused Data Platform Cloud/ multicloud Presales, Solution Engineer to help enterprise customers design, evaluate, and adopt up-to-date data, analytics, AI, and cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) . You'll bring strong technical knowledge across data warehousing, databases, data lakes/lakehouse architectures, data integration, analytics, and AI and be comfortable leading customer-facing workshops, demos, PoCs, and architecture reviews using Oracle technologies such as Autonomous Database, Exadata, OCI GoldenGate, OCI Data Lakehouse, OCI AI Services, and Oracle Analytics Cloud . You'll partner closely with customers, sales, product specialists, engineering, and partners to position and design these solutions. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Presales Consulting - Understand customer business goals, data challenges, and modernization priorities, and translate them into scalable, secure, high-performing OCI architectures - Lead architecture discussions spanning Autonomous Database, Exadata, warehouse modernization, lakehouse, analytics, AI/ML, and data integration - Support opportunity qualification, technical discovery, proposals, and RFP responses Customer Engagement & Advisory - Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CDOs, data leaders, architects, and business stakeholders - Lead workshops, whiteboarding sessions, executive briefings, and technical deep dives - Guide customers on cloud adoption, database modernization, analytics transformation, AI readiness, and data governance Demonstrations, PoCs & Technical Validation - Deliver demos of Oracle data platform capabilities (Autonomous Database, Oracle Analytics, GoldenGate, Data Integration, Data Lakehouse, AI Services) - Define and lead PoCs scope, success criteria, workload sizing, evaluation metrics to validate architecture, performance, and business value - Present findings and recommendations to technical and business decision-makers Data Platform, AI & Analytics Expertise - Advise on modern architecture patterns: cloud data warehouses, data lakes/lakehouse, real-time replication, streaming, and AI-enabled platforms - Guide customers on ingestion, migration, replication, transformation, governance, security, performance, and cost optimization - Stay current on trends in data platforms, AI/generative AI, analytics, and competitive technologies Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Science, or related field - Experience in presales, solution engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting for data platforms - Strong understanding of databases, data warehousing, data lakes, data integration, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud architecture - Hands-on or architectural experience with cloud data platforms and enterprise data solutions - Proven ability to lead technical discussions and translate business needs into solutions - Experience delivering customer workshops, demos, and PoC engagements - Strong communication, consultative selling, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Oracle technologies: Autonomous Database, Exadata, OCI GoldenGate, Oracle Analytics Cloud, OCI Data Integration/Data Flow/Object Storage, OCI AI Services - Knowledge of data lakehouse, data mesh, real-time analytics, and hybrid cloud data platforms - Understanding of generative AI use cases, vector search, MLOps, and AI-powered analytics - Experience with BI tools (Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, Looker) - Familiarity with competitive platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse) - Relevant certifications in cloud, database, data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML - Experience with large enterprise and strategic accounts Why Join Us Help enterprise customers modernize their data landscape and adopt AI-driven innovation using OCI, Autonomous Database, Exadata, GoldenGate, Data Lakehouse, and Oracle Analytics shaping customer data strategy and driving cloud adoption across strategic accounts. .
