We are currently seeking a Study Manager, to join our Genesis India team, and this position will be directly reporting to Delivery Manager or Country Head, Genesis India. About the mission we offer you: The Mechanical Lead Study Manager is responsible for leading, overseeing, and delivering mechanical input across multiple multi-center studies, including feasibility, conceptual, pre-FEED, and front-end advisory scopes. The role ensures technical excellence by serving as the primary interface for mechanical expertise throughout these studies, ensuring safe and efficient execution, high-quality delivery, and strong commercial stewardshipglobally for Genesis. The Mechanical Lead Study Manager will work within various study teams, collaborating closely with the broader Genesis organization both locally and internationally, as well as with Technip Energies locally. They will manage the mechanical scopes across multiple studies, liaising with local and global mechanical engineers to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality completion of deliverables. Additionally, they will provide mechanical discipline oversight for front-end studies and offer bespoke operational support and troubleshooting for clients worldwide. The position requires a self-starter who can flexibly manage and deliver on multiple priorities. A high level of commitment is required together with a willingness to take responsibility and take on new challenges. Starting Date: Immediately About the Job: As the Mechanical Lead, they will manage mechanical scopes across multiple studies, liaising with local and global mechanical engineers to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality completion of deliverables Monitor mechanical engineering scope progress, track deliverables, and assist in preparing management reports to support decision-making across multiple studies Be able to and check detailed engineering calculations and analysis to ensure the integrity, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems. Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for mechanical systems and equipment. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimates for mechanical engineering projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, structural, electrical, and instrumentation engineers, to ensure integrated and optimized designs. Provide technical support during the procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases of projects. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) and company procedures. Collaborate closely with client personnel and Genesis engineering specialists to ensure project compliance, quality, and alignment with Genesis standards for Mechanical Engineering competence Prepare and ensure clear, comprehensive mechanical input into study reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations Mechanical Engineering input into integrated study plans aligned with asset planning and business objectives, facilitating effective communication and delivery of multidisciplinary studies Lead meetings, coordinate activities, and manage study performance to ensure objectives are met efficiently related to mechanical scopes Participate in design reviews, construction planning, HAZID/HAZOP sessions, and technical impact assessments to ensure safety and technical integrity. Develop innovative, cost-effective technical solutions using the latest industry design criteria and best practices Interface with third-party engineering consultants and contractors, providing technical guidance and ensuring deliverables meet project standards Collaborate with tendering teams to develop high-quality proposals and bid submissions in response to client inquiries Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing and implementing best practices, work processes, and tools, incorporating lessons learned to enhance project delivery .
