Role Description We are seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to serve as Vice President of Sales for the APAC region. This role will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and market expansion objectives. Develop and execute a robust regional sales strategy across APAC markets, ensuring revenue growth, sustainable market expansion and achievement of commercial targets. Identify and unlock new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and verticals to expand adoption of Optasias products and services across priority APAC markets. Build and maintain senior relationships with key stakeholders, including mobile network operators, mobile wallets, fintechs, digital banks, financial institutions, enterprise clients, partners and regulatory bodies. Lead, mentor and scale the regional sales team, fostering a high-performance culture with clear ownership, KPIs, pipeline discipline and accountability. Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Delivery and Finance teams to shape tailored solutions that address client needs, market dynamics and commercial feasibility. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments across APAC, translating insights into actionable commercial priorities and go-to-market plans. Represent Optasia at industry events, conferences and forums to enhance brand visibility, strengthen partnerships and position the company as a thought leader in financial technology and embedded finance. Prepare and present regular sales performance updates to executive leadership, covering achievements, pipeline status, forecast accuracy, risks, dependencies and improvement actions. Work cross-functionally to develop commercial and operational documentation, including executive presentations, business cases, service descriptions, proposals and RFP responses. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive sales and business development experience, including at least 5 years developing relationships and strategic partnerships across APAC. Strong exposure to B2B2X models, with proven ability to expand partnerships across mobile wallets, fintechs, digital banks, MNOs and financial services ecosystems. Proven track record leading sales and business development in APAC, ideally within fintech, telecom, mobile financial services, digital services or AI-enabled financial technology. Deep understanding of APAC market dynamics, regulatory environments, cultural nuances and regional go-to-market complexity. Demonstrated ability to build, lead and scale high-performing regional sales teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on execution mindset and the ability to convert ambiguity into clear commercial action. Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication and executive presentation skills. Willingness to travel across the region as required.
