Job DescriptionPosition: Accounts Assistant Location: Amity International School, Gurugram About the Role Amity International School, Gurugram is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support the school's finance and accounts department. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in the accounts department of a school and possess solid knowledge of accounting processes, statutory compliance, and school fee management. Key Responsibilities - Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions. - Assist in preparing vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries. - Manage student fee records, collections, refunds, and reconciliations. - Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash and bank books. - Process vendor payments and maintain vendor accounts. - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and other financial documents. - Support budgeting and financial planning activities. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including TDS, GST (where applicable), and other financial regulations. - Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation and approvals. - Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records. - Assist during internal and external audits. Eligibility Criteria - Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related discipline. - Minimum 25 years of relevant accounts experience, preferably in a CBSE/IB/ICSE school. - Working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime or similar ERP systems. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record management. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Preferred Skills - Experience handling school fee management systems and ERP software. - Knowledge of statutory compliance and financial documentation. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Strong problem-solving and time management skills. Compensation: 40,000.00 - 45,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
