This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 2 years Location: Chennai JobType: full time As a Risk Escalation Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our risk management team, responsible for the identification and assessment of risks related to transactions and operations. You will actively monitor risk alerts and escalations, conducting thorough investigations to determine the validity of risks while collaborating with various internal teams to implement effective risk mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities Monitor, investigate, and escalate high-risk activities and transactions in a timely manner. Conduct detailed analysis of potential fraud cases and assess their legitimacy, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to prevent loss. Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure all findings align with regulatory standards and internal policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and refine risk assessment frameworks and processes. Train and mentor junior team members regarding risk assessment methodologies and procedures. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all risk cases, including investigations, findings, and resolution steps, for audit and compliance purposes. Provide regular feedback and reports to management on trends, challenges, and the overall effectiveness of risk management strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in risk management, fraud investigation, compliance, or a related domain. Solid analytical skills and attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to fraud prevention and risk management (e.g., AML, KYC). Proficiency with risk management systems and analytical tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced workplace while also being capable of working independently. .
