Job Summary The Patent Analyst plays a critical role in analysing patents and related documents to support intellectual property strategies. This position involves conducting comprehensive patent searches, and analysing them, and providing strategic recommendations based on findings. The Patent Analyst collaborates with engineers, and researchers to assess patentability, infringement, and validity of patents. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patent and non-patent literature searches using various databases and resources.Analyze patent landscapes to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.Evaluate patent documents for novelty, non-obviousness, and utility.Prepare detailed patentability, validity, and Freedom to operate reports.Provide strategic recommendations based on patent analysis to support business decisions.Stay updated on relevant patent rules, regulations, and industry trends.Communicate findings and recommendations effectively through written reports and presentations.Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Electrical & Mechanical) Engineering.Experience in conducting patent searches and analyzing patent documents.Proficiency in using patent databases and search tools (e.g. PatBase, USPTO, Espacenet).Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to interpret complex technical documents and patents. Attention to detail and accuracy in patent analysis.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in patent analysis or intellectual property management is a plus.Familiarity with patent analysis software and tools (e.g., Patent Sight, PatSeer, Innography).Qualification Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E) in a relevant field Engineering & technology (ECE/EEE/Mech) with minimum of 1 to 2 years experience Interested candidates are invited to submit their updated CVs to sivagami@ideationip.com Work Location - Chennai, OMR, Karapakkam Work Mode - Onsite Compensation: 23,000.00 - 25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
