Negotiate long-term contracts, SLAs, and rate agreements aligned with business needs. Drive cost savings through vendor consolidation, alternate sourcing, and TCO analysis. Oversee end-to-end procurement processes including timely PO execution and delivery follow-ups. Ensure contract compliance and adherence to procurement policies and legal frameworks. Monitor vendor performance using defined KPIs and take corrective action when needed. Collaborate with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to align procurement with business strategy. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on procurement performance, savings, and risks. Lead and mentor a procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture. Mitigate supply chain risks by ensuring continuity and supplier diversification. Scope of work This role encompasses strategic procurement planning, execution, and supplier management. The incumbent will be responsible for building resilient procurement frameworks, optimizing costs, ensuring timely availability of materials/services, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The position includes cross-functional leadership, contract negotiation, ERP utilization, and driving vendor performance for long-term organizational value.
