About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong backend engineering expertise to design and build scalable, high -performance applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Python, API development, database optimization, cloud -native technologies, and distributed systems. You will play a key role in building robust backend services that power next -generation AI -driven products. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python. - Build high -performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask. - Design efficient, scalable database schemas and optimize database performance. - Develop thread -safe, concurrent, and high -throughput backend applications. - Build clean, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices. - Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes. - Develop and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger. - Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Skills - 812 years of hands -on experience in Python backend development. - Strong expertise in Python 3.x. - Extensive experience with FastAPI and/or Flask. - Strong hands -on experience with SQLAlchemy ORM, session management, and database transactions. - Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, asynchronous programming, and thread -safe application development. - Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning. - Hands -on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI, and Swagger. - Experience with Git, code reviews, unit testing, and software engineering best practices. - Good understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and scalable application design. Preferred Skills - Experience building AI/ML -enabled applications. - Exposure to Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and application performance optimization. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
