Strategic Sourcing & Category Management - Develop and implement CAPEX sourcing strategies with an emphasis on low-cost country sourcing. - Lead end-to-end procurement for machinery, production lines, tooling, construction, and engineering services. - Conduct global market analysis to identify cost-competitive suppliers and sourcing opportunities. Supplier & Contract Management - Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers from low-cost regions. - Negotiate long-term supply agreements, contracts, and project-based procurement packages. - Ensure supplier compliance with quality, safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements. - Deliver CAPEX cost savings and value improvement targets. - Conduct TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), cost breakdown, and should-cost analysis for equipment and projects. - Mitigate supplier risks (financial stability, logistics, geopolitical, compliance). Project & Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams to define technical specifications and procurement requirements. - Support cross-functional project execution for current plant setups, facility upgrades, and capacity expansion. Process, Governance & Compliance - Implement procurement best practices and sourcing processes across regions. - Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies, ethics, and sustainability standards. - Leverage digital procurement tools and analytics for transparency and performance tracking. Qualifications Education: - Bachelors degree in engineering - Masters degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. Experience: - 4-10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in CAPEX procurement. - Proven track record in low-cost country sourcing - Experience managing large-scale capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, or infrastructure sectors. Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of CAPEX categories (machinery, construction, engineering, Packaging, IT). - Excellent negotiation and supplier development skills. - Financial acumen: cost modeling, TCO, and investment analysis. - Project management and stakeholder collaboration skills. - Ability to manage global supplier relationships and cross-cultural interactions. .
