The role ensures the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant procurement solutions while mitigating commercial and supply chain risks. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the specialist manages supplier performance, supports project and business objectives, and contributes to continuous improvement in procurement processes and governance.## Your role* The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and managing suppliers, contractors, and service providers to support business and project requirements.* Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost competitiveness, quality, risk mitigation, and schedule objectives.* Conduct market analysis, supplier identification, prequalification assessments, and vendor onboarding activities.* Prepare and manage RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and ITTs in accordance with project and business requirements.* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define technical, commercial, and contractual requirements for procurement activities.* Manage end-to-end tendering processes, including bidder engagement, clarification management, bid evaluations, and supplier recommendations.* Perform detailed commercial and contractual evaluations of supplier proposals and prepare bid comparison reports.* Lead commercial negotiations to secure favourable pricing, terms and conditions, service levels, and risk allocation.* Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts, purchase orders, framework agreements, service agreements, and work orders.* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and governance requirements.* Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and contractual compliance, and address performance issues where required.* Identify supply chain and commercial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.* Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and project teams to resolve contractual and commercial matters.* Support contract lifecycle management activities, including amendments, renewals, claims, disputes, and closeout.* Track procurement savings, commercial benefits, and key performance indicators, providing regular reports to stakeholders.* Maintain procurement documentation, audit trails, and contract records in accordance with company requirements.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and contract management processes and practices.* Support and mentor junior team members while promoting procurement best practices and ethical sourcing principles.## About you* Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Contract Management.* Proven experience managing end-to-end sourcing, tendering, supplier negotiations, and contract administration activities.* Strong understanding of procurement principles, supplier relationship management, and category management.* Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts, service agreements, and purchase agreements.* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate contractual, financial, and operational risks.* Experience conducting commercial bid evaluations, cost analysis, and supplier performance assessments.* Knowledge of contract management principles, including exposure to standard forms of contract such as FIDIC, NEC, JCT, or equivalent frameworks, is advantageous.* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization.* Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.* Experience working in project-driven environments such as engineering, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, technology, or professional services is preferred.* Proficient in ERP systems, procurement tools, and Microsoft Office applications.* Professional qualifications such as CIPS, CPSM, MRICS, or equivalent procurement and contract management certifications will be an added advantage.* Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent team spirit, and a collaborative mindset, with a proactive approach and a continuous willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionally.## Rewards & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive at every stage of your life and your career.This includes:* Comprehensive life insurance coverage.* Premium medical insurance for you and your dependents.* Generous annual leave balance.* .
