Job Requirements Job Description: Position: Network Security Engineer - Firewall Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking a Network Security Engineer Firewalls & Perimeter to own and operate enterprise network firewall and perimeter security controls in a regulated banking environment. This role has deep focus on firewall architecture, segmentation, traffic control, and perimeter defence, while collaborating closely with teams managing ZTNA, SWG, and Web/API Protection. Key Responsibilities Primary Focus Network Firewalls Design, configure, and operate enterprise-grade firewall platforms across data centres, cloud, and hybrid environments.Enforce network segmentation, least-privilege access, and controlled ingress/egress.Perform firewall rule lifecycle management, including reviews, recertification, optimization, and cleanup.Troubleshoot complex network security and connectivity issues across multiple layers.Support secure connectivity for applications, users, vendors, and cloud workloads.Security Operations & Governance Monitor firewall logs and alerts; integrate with SIEM and SOC workflows.Participate in incident response related to network-based attacks.Support internal, external, and regulatory audits (RBI, ISO 27001, NIST).Maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, and audit evidence.
