The Role We are looking for a heavy-hitting Python Senior Backend Developer to architect, optimize, and own our core data processing and analytics engines. Because our product is focused on financial intelligence, your work will directly impact how quickly and accurately data is processed, analyzed, and delivered to our users. You will work closely with our CTO to build scalable data architectures. We actively expect our engineers to leverage LLMs and AI coding assistants to maximize development speed, automate testing, and eliminate boilerplates. Key Responsibilities - High-Performance Analytics: Design, develop, and optimize high-throughput analytics algorithms and backend logic using Python. - Data Integration: Seamlessly connect, pipeline, and secure financial data from various third-party services and financial APIs. - Database Management: Build, query, and maintain hybrid database architectures utilizing both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems. - Code Reliability: Write rigorous unit tests to guarantee 100% mathematical accuracy and reliability across all financial computations. - AI-Accelerated Workflows: Leverage AI-based development tools and coding assistants to maximize deployment velocity and code efficiency. Must-Have Qualifications & Skills - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional backend software development experience. - Core Tech Stack: Proven, production-grade mastery of Python and its framework ecosystems. - Database Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with both PostgreSQL and MongoDB. - Cloud Infrastructure: Practical, hands-on experience developing and deploying production workloads within AWS. - Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a strictly technical equivalent. Nice-to-Have Skills - Domain Expertise: Prior background in FinTech or WealthTech systems (highly preferred). - Experience implementing or building AI-driven backends, agents, or semantic search layers.
