Job Title Bilingual Talent Acquisition AdvisorContract End Date 2027-03-26About This Role: About the OpportunityThe Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a critical role in helping Giant Tiger attract and hire exceptional talent across the organization. This fully remote position supports recruitment across our Home Office, Distribution Centres, and Franchisee In Training (FIT) Programour leadership development program focused on developing the next generation of Giant Tiger store leaders and franchise operators. This role is best suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes ownership of delivering results. You'll partner closely with business leaders, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and influence hiring decisions that directly impact the success of the business. The pace is high, the expectations are clear, and the work is both challenging and rewarding. Professional-level French and English language skills (spoken and written) are required for this position. This role is currently a contract role ending March 2027. Workplace Arrangement This is a fully remote position. Occasional travel may be required to Giant Tiger locations for team meetings. Why Join Giant Tigers Talent Acquisition Team Recruit across a diverse portfolio of roles spanning corporate functions, distribution centre operations, and leadership development programs, giving you exposure to a wide range of talent and business leaders.Partner with leaders across the organization, building strong relationships and influencing hiring decisions that directly impact business performance.A culture of trust and accountability, where Advisors are given meaningful responsibility, empowered to make decisions, and expected to deliver results.Make a real impact by helping Giant Tiger attract great talent while supporting our mission of helping Canadians save more every day.What You'll DoCreate strategic recruitment plans in partnership with hiring managers and business leaders to ensure timely fulfillment of talent needs.Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles across Giant Tiger's Home Office, Distribution Centres, and leadership development programs.Support hiring for the Franchisee In Training (FIT) Program, helping identify and attract future Giant Tiger store leaders.Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand business needs, role requirements, and recruitment strategies.Conduct targeted sourcing through LinkedIn, Indeed, networking, referrals, and other recruitment channels to build strong candidate pipelines.Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate qualifications, experience, and alignment with organizational values.Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, candidate selection, internal mobility, and compensation guidelines.Influence candidates and hiring managers through strong communication, consultation, and recruitment expertise.Manage offer negotiations while balancing Giant Tiger's compensation philosophy, internal equity, and market competitiveness.Coordinate assessments, background checks, references, and other recruitment activities throughout the hiring process.Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and ensure a positive, professional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.Act as a brand ambassador by promoting Giant Tiger's culture, values, and employee experience throughout the recruitment process.Who You AreWe welcome applicants with Talent Acquisition experience or transferable experience from customer service, retail, hospitality, business development, sales, or other people-focused industries. You bring: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or a related field where communication, relationship building, and influencing skills are critical to success.Professional-level fluency in both French and English, including the ability to confidently conduct interviews .
