Job Description Performance Test EngineerJob Title Performance Test Engineer Experience 58 Years Employment Type Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in performance testing, performance engineering, and application performance analysis across enterprise-grade applications. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing performance tests to ensure applications meet scalability, reliability, and availability requirements. The role requires hands-on experience with industry-leading performance testing tools, monitoring platforms, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications is essential. Candidates with Healthcare domain experience will have an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance test strategies and test plans. Perform Load, Stress, Spike, Soak/Endurance, Volume, Capacity, and Scalability testing. Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter and/or LoadRunner. Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies. Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools. Execute performance testing for distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications. Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues. Conduct root cause analysis for production performance incidents and provide recommendations. Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. Generate detailed performance reports, dashboards, and improvement recommendations. Validate system performance against defined SLAs and business requirements. Participate in performance engineering initiatives to improve system scalability and reliability. Required QualificationsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience 58 years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering. Strong experience with enterprise-level performance testing engagements. Proven experience testing distributed systems, cloud applications, APIs, and microservices. Experience working with Healthcare domain applications is preferred. Performance Testing Tools Apache JMeter LoadRunner Professional / Enterprise Performance Center BlazeMeter (Good to Have) Monitoring & Observability Hands-on experience with: Dynatrace Splunk Grafana AppDynamics (Good to Have) Azure Monitor (Good to Have) Ability to analyze: Application performance metrics Infrastructure metrics Logs Distributed tracing Business transaction flows Cloud & Infrastructure Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud. Strong understanding of: Linux Administration Networking Fundamentals Load Balancers Kubernetes (Preferred) Docker & Containers Microservices Architecture Database Skills Strong SQL experience with: SQL Server Azure SQL Oracle (Preferred) MongoDB (Preferred) Ability to troubleshoot: Slow-running queries Database locking issues Connection pool bottlenecks Database performance metrics Automation & CI/CD Experience integrating performance testing with: Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps Scripting knowledge in: Java JavaScript Groovy Python (Preferred) Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise-scale, mission-critical (Tier-0) applications. Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environments. Experience handling production incident diagnostics and performance troubleshooting. Familiarity with AIOps, observability platforms, and alert correlation. Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments. Experience with Healthcare applications such as claims processing, member portals, provider systems, and healthcare data platforms. Experience implementing proactive performance monitoring and reliability engineering practices. Certifications in LoadRunner, Dynatrace, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud technologies are preferred.
