Role Description The Domestic Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The team member will be responsible for generating and managing sales within the domestic market, focusing on retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and food businesses. Daily activities include identifying new business opportunities, visiting clients, presenting product ranges, negotiating pricing and terms, and closing sales orders. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, handling inquiries and complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The individual will also collaborate with internal teams on inventory, logistics, and marketing initiatives, prepare sales reports, and participate in product and sales training to stay updated on market trends. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, in an FMCG or food products environment.Candidates should possess Sales Management and Training abilities to manage pipelines, support junior team members, and contribute to structured sales processes.Candidates should possess basic business and market analysis skills, including understanding pricing, competition, and regional demand patterns.Relevant experience in domestic sales, preferably in spices, food products, or FMCG, is highly beneficial.A bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.Comfort with on-site client visits, fieldwork, and local travel in and around Ahmedabad.Proficiency in MS Office and basic sales reporting tools is an advantage. .
