Job Description Admission Counsellor Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused Admission Counsellor to guide students in selecting suitable universities, colleges, and professional courses based on their academic qualifications, career aspirations, and interests. The ideal candidate should be able to understand students' requirements, provide accurate career and course guidance, and assist them throughout the admission and application process. Key Responsibilities Counsel students and understand their academic background, career goals, and interests. Guide students in selecting relevant universities, colleges, courses, and professional programs. Provide information about courses, eligibility criteria, admission requirements, fees, and career opportunities. Assist students in completing and submitting admission applications. Review application forms and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. Help students prepare strong applications, including statements, documents, and other required materials. Follow up with students regarding application status, admission deadlines, and required documentation. Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely updates. Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey. Achieve assigned counselling, application, and admission targets. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications in the CRM/system. Stay updated on university admission policies, courses, eligibility criteria, and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any discipline; relevant counselling or education experience will be an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong counselling, convincing, and relationship-building abilities. Good knowledge of universities, courses, and admission processes. Ability to understand students' career aspirations and recommend suitable options. Strong follow-up and coordination skills. Customer-focused and target-oriented approach. Good computer and MS Office/CRM skills. Prior experience in education counselling, admissions, study abroad, or sales will be preferred.
