Role Description The Lead Engineer role at VDart Digital is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bangalore, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable digital solutions and platforms, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations. The Lead Engineer will oversee technical architecture, conduct code reviews, mentor engineering team members, and ensure best practices in performance, security, and maintainability. Daily responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical specifications, coordinating sprints and deliverables, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement in development processes and tooling. Qualifications You bring 10 to 15years of experience as a developer/DevOps engineer and technology subject matter expert in the Data and Analytics space. You have expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure and design, with a focus on technologies to deliver AI/ML solutions, including: oAzure Data Factory oAzure Blob Storage oAzure ML Service oAzure Databricks oAzure SQL DB oPower BI Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse. Experience with SAP HANA, ECC, BI architecture. Experience with various integration methods, including APIs. Hands-on experience with development on Cloud Big Data technologies. Hands-on experience administering BI tools (Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI). Experience with integration methods and tools, including ETL and virtualization. Strong understanding of data modeling best practices. Experience and knowledge in developing strategic planning, leadership, and organizational delivery for new platform rollouts. Proven experience in navigating complex organizations, creative problem solving, and rational experimentation. Effectively manages ambiguity, change, and conflict. Able to identify, address, or escalate potential dependencies and issues. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross-functional groups and senior leadership. At ease establishing senior-level working relationships and communications. Ability to influence multiple organizational stakeholders on highly technical issues and challenges.
