About the Role : Babcom is looking for an experienced Workday HCM Consultant with 10 - 15 years of overall IT experience and a minimum of 8 years of hands-on Workday experience. The ideal candidate should have successfully delivered 2 - 3 end-to-end Workday implementations and possess strong expertise across Core HCM, Talent, Recruitment, Absence Management, and Time Tracking modules. You will be part of the Workday team from Babcom, supporting a Workday implementation and AMS engagement for a Germany-based customer. Work timings: 11AM-7PM IST. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and support end-to-end Workday implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and release management activities. - Configure and maintain Workday modules including : - Core HCM - Talent - Recruitment 4. Absence Management - Time Tracking - Design scalable Workday solutions aligned with business requirements and HR best practices. - Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations. - Configure business processes, workflows, organizations, security, validations, and approval chains. - Build and maintain complex reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and notifications. - Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support. - Support Workday bi-annual releases, testing, and deployment activities. - Estimate effort for configurations, enhancements, and change requests. - Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle. - Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scenarios, and user documentation. - Mentor and train team members and support solution design discussions. Required Skills & Experience : Experience : - 10 - 15 years of overall IT experience. - Minimum 5 - 8 years of Workday experience. - Experience in at least 2 - 3 full-cycle Workday implementations. - Experience in implementation, AMS, and enhancement projects. - Strong client-facing consulting experience. Technical Expertise : - Business Process Configuration - Workday Security - Calculated Fields - Report Writer - Dashboards - Workday Configuration - Release Management - Functional Troubleshooting Required Competencies : - Strong understanding of HR processes, data models, & compliance requirements. - Expertise in configuring Workday business processes, security, reports, & workflows. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, & stakeholder management skills. - Ability to estimate effort & independently deliver functional configurations & enhancements. - Strong communication & client interaction skills. - Experience working in Agile delivery environments. Valuable to Have, not Mandatory : - Workday HCM Certification. - Experience with Compensation, Benefits, or Payroll modules. - Experience in global Workday rollouts and AMS engagements. - Exposure to Workday Financials or PSA. .
