Role Description The Life Insurance Specialist will focus exclusively on direct channel sales, with no banca (bank) sales, and will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and approaching prospective clients, explaining life insurance products and coverage options, and recommending suitable plans based on clients needs and financial goals. The specialist will conduct needs analysis, prepare proposals, manage the end-to-end policy application process, and ensure timely follow-up on documentation and payments. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of client interactions, building long-term relationships, achieving assigned sales targets, and coordinating with internal teams for policy issuance and customer service. The Life Insurance Specialist is expected to stay updated on product features, regulatory guidelines, and market trends to provide clear, compliant, and ethical advice to clients. Qualifications Strong sales and negotiation skills, with proven ability to meet or exceed individual targets in a direct sales environment.Customer relationship management and communication skills to build trust, explain complex products clearly, and handle queries professionally.Basic financial literacy and analytical skills to conduct needs analysis, assess client risk profiles, and recommend suitable life insurance solutions.Organizational and time-management skills to manage leads, follow up consistently, maintain documentation, and handle multiple client accounts.Understanding of life insurance products, policy features, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements (prior insurance experience is an advantage).Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru, with the ability to travel locally to meet clients as required.Professional, ethical approach to sales and client service, with willingness to learn and adapt to company processes and performance expectations. .
