Job Description Catalogue Assistant (Amazon Marketplace) Position - Catalogue Assistant Department Sales Reports To - City Manager Role Objective To create and maintain high-quality Amazon product catalogues that meet Amazon's listing standards, ensuring accurate product representation, successful listing publication, enhanced customer experience and improved marketplace performance. Job Summary The Catalogue Assistant is responsible for creating, managing and maintaining accurate product catalogues on Amazon Seller Central in accordance with Amazon's listing standards and policies. The role requires strong attention to detail to ensure that every product listing is complete, accurate and optimized for successful publication. The Catalogue Assistant works closely with internal stakeholders to collect product information, resolve listing issues and maintain high catalogue quality across all assigned Amazon accounts. Key Responsibilities 1. Create new product listings and catalogues on Amazon Seller Central. 2. Ensure all listings comply with Amazon's catalogue creation guidelines policies and quality standards. 3. Upload complete and accurate product information, including: Product Title Brand Name Product Description Bullet Points Product Attributes Search Keywords Dimensions and Weight Images Category and Browse Nodes Variations (Size, Colour, Pack, etc.), wherever applicable. 4. Verify the accuracy of product information before publishing listings. 5. Upload product images and digital assets as per Amazon image guidelines. 6. Review and validate listing content to prevent suppression, errors or policy violations. 7. Update existing catalogues whenever product information, specifications or attributes change. 8. Resolve catalogue-related issues such as listing suppression, inactive ASINs, attribute errors, contribution conflicts and quality alerts. 9. Coordinate with internal teams to obtain missing product details, images, compliance documents and supporting information. 10. Perform quality checks to ensure catalogue accuracy and consistency across all assigned Amazon accounts. 11. Maintain daily productivity and quality targets while adhering to defined turnaround times (TAT). 12. Prepare and maintain records of completed listings, pending cases, and catalogue corrections. Required Skills Knowledge of catalogue creation processes. Understanding of Amazon listing policies and catalogue quality standards. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting productivity and quality targets. Team-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and process improvement.
