Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an API Integration Specialist. The specialist will design, implement, and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms, ensuring data flows are secure, reliable, and efficient. Daily tasks include analyzing integration requirements, configuring APIs, writing and reviewing integration-related code or scripts, and monitoring performance to identify and resolve issues. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, documenting integration processes, and providing support and troubleshooting for existing integrations. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Integration and Troubleshooting skills to design, configure, and maintain reliable API connections.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data flows, diagnose integration issues, and optimize performance.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and document integration processes clearly.Candidates should possess relevant Software Development skills (e.g., working with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, scripting languages) to implement and adjust integration logic.Experience with API management tools, web services, and authentication methods (such as OAuth, API keys) is beneficial.Familiarity with HR or enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll, or talent management platforms) is a plus.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities in a part-time schedule, and meet agreed deadlines.Relevant education or certifications in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field are advantageous. .
