Job Title: SSRS Report Developer (Contract) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract (5-Month Engagement) Department: Information Technology Reports To: Senior Director, IT Technology Job Overview We are looking for an experienced SSRS Report Developer to join a dedicated report migration project. This is a 5-month contract opportunity focused on migrating and modernizing existing SSRS reports while working closely with a Data Engineer. The project aims to accelerate the reporting migration timeline by at least three months. Employment Details - Contract Duration: 5 Months - Work Location: Remote - Working Hours: US Time Zone (CDT) with 56 hours of overlap - Laptop: Will be provided by the client for secure access to their systems. - Onboarding: Selected candidates will complete contract formalities and background verification before joining. - Interview Process: Two rounds, including a client interview. - Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred. Key Responsibilities - Migrate existing SSRS reports to updated platforms and standards. - Develop, maintain, and optimize reports using SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI Tabular. - Validate migrated reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency with legacy reports. - Collaborate with the Data Engineer on data models and source systems. - Identify migration risks and legacy reporting issues proactively to ensure timely project delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications - 57 years of experience in SSRS Report Development. - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server. - Expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). - Experience working with Power BI Tabular Models. - Strong SQL query writing and data validation skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working on SSRS Report Migration projects. - Ability to understand and modernize legacy or undocumented reports. - Experience validating migrated reports for functional and data accuracy. - Comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
