CBTS team supports Engagements in the planning and deployment of cross border resources. CBTS works closely with all service lines to coordinate and execute transactional support for cross-border travelers. CBTS Global Support Center (GSC) team is aligned to GDS Risk Management Services supports the Global CBTS team to deliver these services for global Engagements. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Analyst to join our dynamic this role you will be part of Engagement Transaction Support team in the GSC which analyses tax implications that arises due to a across border travel and coordinate the related compliance and financial activities with various team across the firm. Your day-to-day activities will involve a mix of research data gathering coordination and administrative tasks that are crucial for maintaining our business integrity and efficiency. Your key responsibilities Process Handling: Facilitates and drives the ETS processes to completionPerforms initial review of tax compliance for business travelers and evaluates completeness accuracy and appropriateness of proposed transaction/requests.Customer Handling: Promptly crafts responses to a range of inquiriesApply analytical and project management methodology and toolsCross-functional Coordination: Seamlessly coordinate with business tax teams in EY globally to ensure the initiation of compliance requirementsThis role requires interaction with EY business leaderships including Partners to gather details about the engagement secure required approval for cost etcDiligent Follow-ups: Maintain a proactive approach to follow-ups ensuring all relevant and required data is timely submitted for assessmentConsultation and Support: Educate travelers with various risk involved in cross border travel and importance of being complaint to rules and regulations. Provide tiered support to users addressing queries related to cross border travel and troubleshooting tool-related issues and escalating complex problems to higher-level support teams as needed.Work independently to meet the onshore CBTS ETS Manager requirements to ensure complianceAssist with the day-to-day functioning and upkeep of risk management tools and systems ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.Update and maintain the integrity of data within risk management systems guaranteeing both accuracy and completeness.Actively participate in team meetings providing task updates and engaging in discussions aimed at process optimization.Take part in training sessions to enhance your understanding and proficiency in risk management practices and tools.Keep up with of the latest industry trends best practices and regulatory developments that may influence risk management procedures. Qualifications: Strong research and analytical skills.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Demonstrated research and analytical prowess.Familiarity with compliance processes and legal documentation.Proficient in using corporate internal tools and software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.Proactive mindset adept at managing multiple tasks and deadlines.Consultation and reporting skills.
