Role Description The Sales Executive (India) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new channel partners, managing existing partner relationships, and promoting the companys software solutions across assigned territories. Daily activities will include lead generation, client meetings, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing sales to achieve revenue and growth targets. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, after-sales support, and feedback collection to improve offerings. The Sales Executive will prepare regular sales reports, monitor market trends, and contribute to sales strategies for expansion within India. Qualifications - Proven sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client engagement, and closing deals. - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities for working with channel partners and retail clients. - Basic understanding of software or technology products, with the ability to explain solutions and value propositions clearly. - Ability to analyze market trends, prepare sales reports, and contribute to strategic planning. - Comfort with in office client visits within the Kolkata metropolitan area and occasional travel in India. - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Prior experience in channel sales, retail solutions, or financial services (EMI, lending, or fintech) is an advantage. - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams. .
