Role Description The Territory Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager will oversee sales operations and business development within the Kolkata metropolitan area in a full-time, hybrid role (combining in office field work with some work-from-home flexibility). Responsibilities include managing and expanding the distributor and retailer network, driving revenue growth, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. The role involves regular market visits, identifying new business opportunities, monitoring competitor activities, and ensuring effective product placement and visibility. The manager will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, provide product training and support to channel partners, and coordinate with internal teams for marketing initiatives, demand planning, and inventory management. Daily tasks also include reporting sales performance, forecasting, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and brand representation in the region. Qualifications - Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Management skills, including territory planning, target achievement, and channel development. - Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present products clearly and negotiate with diverse stakeholders. - Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on relationship building, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. - Candidates should possess Training skills to effectively guide distributors, retailers, and internal teams on product features and selling techniques. - Relevant experience in FMCG, consumer healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sales within a regional or territory role. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing multiple accounts or territories. - Strong analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency with basic MS Office tools and sales dashboards. - Ability to work independently, travel within the region as required, and adapt to a hybrid work setting based in Kolkata. - Graduate degree; a .
