About Global Delivery Services Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EYs strategy by ensuring effective support to EYs growth agenda. Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. The Opportunity Your Key Responsibilities Takes end to end responsibility for the effective planning and delivery of test automation frameworks and automation projects on large scale complex strategic and/or transformative projects in accordance with relevant Test Automation Methodologies. Plans, directs, coordinates and reports on test automation delivery activities from automation test strategy and planning by leading, directing and overseeing a team of resources working across multiple workstreams and projects. You will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of IT Projects through methodologies such as Agile Scrum/Kanban and traditional Waterfall (when required), leveraging your domain knowledge and sector experience Create high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource on one or more services, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients. Maintains focus so that projects deliver on key priorities and dependencies Skills and attributes for success A strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in a business or IT related discipline, from a recognised third level institution QA accreditation (ISTQB Foundation, ISTQB Test Automation Engineer or a similar IT accreditation from a recognised third level institution or accreditation body) Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in full time test automation role and at least 4 years in hands-on automation architect role Expert in the selection and building of test automation frameworks and tools Have experience of tool evaluation and selection Have prior experience of leading a team of automation engineers Have hands-on experience of at least two of the following Selenium Web driver with Java/C#/Python/JS Appium Protractor Worksoft Tricentis Tosca Ranorex UFT Postman, RestAssured Have hands-on experience of the following tools (Automation, Build, CICD) Git/Bitbucket/Gitlab/SVN Selenium grid/Saucelabs/Browserstack Jenkins/AzureDevops Should be familiar with code reviews, design patterns, and implementing best practices in test automation Expert knowledge of a CI system to create builds Be an expert in Agile development practices including ATDD, TDD & BDD Have structured approach to problem solving and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently managing your own workload with an attention to detail Excellent communication skills tailoring communications to suit a mix of audiences What we offer you At EY, well develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
