Role Description The Branch Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Gorakhpur, responsible for overall branch management and performance. The role includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining high standards of customer service for microfinance clients. The Branch Head will lead and mentor branch staff, manage targets, monitor loan disbursement and collections, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements. The position also involves analyzing branch performance, implementing strategies to grow the portfolio responsibly, managing risk, and representing Arohan in the local community. The Branch Head collaborates with regional leadership to drive operational excellence and contribute to the mission of serving underserved households and small businesses. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong branch operations and microfinance management skills, including portfolio monitoring, collections oversight, and risk management. Candidates should possess people management and leadership skills, including team supervision, performance coaching, and staff development. Candidates should possess customer relationship and community engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships. Candidates should possess analytical and planning skills, including data interpretation, target setting, and implementation of branch growth strategies. Candidates should possess sound knowledge of financial products, NBFC/MFI regulatory norms, and basic accounting practices. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and maintain ethical conduct. Relevant experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services in a branch leadership or supervisory role is highly beneficial. A graduate degree in commerce, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field is preferred; local language proficiency and familiarity with the Gorakhpur region are an advantage. .
