Responsibilities: Own NPI and Sustaining Test Readiness: Drive end-to-end manufacturing test strategy, test sequence definition, and coverage validation for multiple hardware infrastructure variants to ensure seamless factory execution and build readiness.Lead Debug and Yield Optimisation: Independently lead technical triage and resolve complex system-level test fallout during critical build phases, analysing failure paretos to isolate root causes across hardware, firmware, and test infrastructure.Scale Test Architecture and Frameworks: Enhance and standardise the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) hardware test architecture by deploying reusable automation frameworks and consolidating test execution into shared platforms to minimise factory cycle times.Drive Vendor and Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners and internal engineering teams through rigorous yield reviews to close operational readiness gaps, manage bonepiles, and protect volume shipment schedules. Requirements: Hardware Systems Expertise: 7+ years of deep technical understanding of hardware systems engineering, system-level test deployment, or high-volume electronic manufacturing environments, including knowledge of factory qualification flows and enterprise hardware architectures.Test Automation and Software Skills: Proven proficiency in developing, enhancing, and scaling manufacturing test software or diagnostic scripts, with strong hands-on coding skills in Python or similar object-oriented programming languages.Advanced Diagnostic Capability: Strong technical debugging skills targeting complex hardware-software interactions, test automation platforms, and system-level failures to drive rapid root-cause closure and yield improvement.Technical Leadership and Collaboration: Proven capability to independently lead technical execution during high-stakes product builds, influence cross-functional engineering stakeholders, and manage external contract manufacturing partners.Location: We are primarily an in-office environment, and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave. .

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
