Project Analyst Intern (MIS/Reporting)

About the role Every project we run generates numbers uptime, response times, ticket volumes, adoption, conversion, margins. Someone needs to watch those numbers closely, notice when something is drifting in the wrong direction, dig into why, and tell the right person before it becomes a problem. That's this role. You'll be the person who looks closely at our projects, tracks how they're performing, and keeps the Team Lead and project owners informed. It's a genuinely good entry point into technology: you'll sit near real engineering work, learn how production systems behave, and build the analytical instincts that underpin every senior technical role. We're looking for someone with real curiosity about technology, engineering, orAI. Key Responsibilities: Monitor ongoing projects and track performance against expected metrics is it improving, holding, or slipping Review reports and dashboards regularly, and flag anomalies, regressions, or emerging issues Investigate the why behind a number moving, and escalate clearly to the Team Lead or project owner Prepare and present periodic project health summaries for the team Write scripts and small automations to make reporting faster and more reliable you'll have the freedom to build your own tooling here Track data trends over time and surface patterns the team might otherwise miss Learn the technical vocabulary of our stack well enough to talk to engineers on their terms Required Skills & Qualifications Graduate in Computer Science or a related field Working knowledge of or familiarity with Python Understanding of data analysis concepts Technical proficiency: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling) and data visualization platforms (Looker Studio / Power BI / Tableau) Analytical mindset: ability to spot anomalies in metrics or pricing, quantify shifts (e.g., percentage or margin changes), and translate raw data into business intelligence Genuine interest in technology, engineering, orAI and evidence of it (projects, coursework, self-study, contributions) Attention to detail and the persistence to chase down an unexplained number Excellent communication and collaboration abilities a good part of this job is explaining problems clearly to busy people Good to Have (Advantage) Exposure to MySQL or BigQuery Familiarity with monitoring or BI tools such as Metabase Any prior internship, project, or coursework involving data analysis or reporting .
