Quality Inspector

Job Title: Team Member Quality (Line Inspection) Location: Coimbatore (Pollachi) Department: Machine Shop Experience: 38 Years Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Team Member Quality (Line Inspection) to perform in-process and line inspection of machined and casting components. The candidate will ensure adherence to engineering drawings, quality standards, and control plans to achieve zero-defect manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and line inspection of machining and casting components.Inspect critical dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and casting defects.Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicator.Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and line clearance.Monitor process quality to reduce rejection and rework.Identify non-conformities and support CAPA activities.Maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards, safety, and 5S practices.Required Skills Strong knowledge of machining processes (CNC, VMC, HMC, Turning, Milling, Drilling, Grinding).Experience in inspection of machined and casting components.Proficiency in GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.Knowledge of ISO quality systems and 7 QC Tools.Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.Willingness to work in rotational shifts**.Apply: careers@savioindia.in Compensation: From 20,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid sick timeProvident FundWork Location: In person .
