Tally Customization & Functional Consultant

Location: Charni Road, Mumbai Working Days: Monday to Saturday Job Type: Full-time | Work from Office About The Role We are looking for a Tally Customization & Functional Consultant who has a strong understanding of accounting and hands-on experience in customizing and modifying Tally as per business requirements. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between accounts and technologyunderstanding business processes, identifying improvements, implementing changes in Tally, and ensuring the software meets operational needs. Key Responsibilities Understand existing accounting and business processes and translate them into Tally solutions. Customize and modify TallyPrime/Tally ERP to meet organizational requirements. Create, modify, and configure masters, vouchers, reports, invoice formats, and workflows. Develop or implement TDL-based customizations (or coordinate with developers where required). Configure GST, TDS, inventory, payroll, and accounting modules. Troubleshoot Tally-related issues and provide timely resolutions. Handle data migration, import/export, backup, and system maintenance. Work closely with the Accounts and Management teams to improve efficiency through Tally. Test new customizations and ensure smooth implementation without affecting existing operations. Train users and provide ongoing support after implementation. Requirements 25 years of experience in Tally customization, implementation, or functional consulting. Strong hands-on knowledge of TallyPrime/Tally ERP. Excellent understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, inventory management, and financial reporting. Experience in modifying and customizing Tally based on business requirements. Knowledge of TDL (Tally Definition Language) is highly preferred. Ability to understand business processes and convert them into functional Tally solutions. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Profile Experience working with manufacturing, trading, or multi-company environments. Prior experience implementing custom reports, vouchers, invoice formats, and workflow automation in Tally. Ability to independently handle customization projects from requirement gathering to implementation. Salary 25,000 30,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and technical expertise) Working Schedule Monday to Saturday Work from Office (Charni Road, Mumbai) Immediate joiners preferred.
