Role Overview : As a QA Automation Engineer at Wits Innovation Lab, you will be a key member of our engineering team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare software solutions. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, identify defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software development process. Your work will directly impact the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our users, ultimately contributing to better patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to ensure comprehensive test coverage of our applications. - Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team to facilitate timely resolution. - Develop and maintain API test suites using RestAssured and POSTMAN to validate the functionality and performance of our APIs. - Perform database testing to verify data integrity and accuracy across our systems. - Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability. - Perform manual testing when necessary to cover areas not suitable for automation. Required Skillset : - Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Java. - Proven experience in API testing using Rest Assured and POSTMAN. - Strong understanding of database testing principles and experience with SQL. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Ability to work on-site in Mohali/Kharar. .
