Infrastructure, Network & Security Lead Location Hyderabad (remote plus occasional office visits) Contract Freelance / Contract Duration Initial 4-month contract with solid possibility of extension and potential long-term opportunities until 2030. Start Date September 2026 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure, Network & Security Lead to join a global transformation programme within the healthcare sector. You will take ownership of infrastructure readiness, cybersecurity coordination and cloud governance, ensuring secure, scalable and high-performing environments throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity and business stakeholders, you will drive secure-by-design principles while supporting the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Lead infrastructure solution design, readiness and deployment activities across cloud and on-premise environments. - Manage infrastructure clean-up, firewall reviews and remediation of existing environments. - Provision production environments aligned with organisational standards and security requirements. - Coordinate activities across Infrastructure, Network, Operations and Cyber Security teams. - Act as the primary liaison between project teams and Cyber Security to ensure security requirements are identified, assessed and implemented. - Conduct security reviews, risk assessments and threat analysis for new solutions and infrastructure changes. - Track security risks, vulnerabilities, remediation activities and governance approvals. - Collaborate with cloud architects, infrastructure engineers and business stakeholders to implement secure-by-design solutions. - Support compliance, audit activities, penetration testing and vulnerability management. - Provide regular project updates and security reporting to leadership and key stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience - 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Network and/or Cyber Security. - Strong experience leading infrastructure delivery within enterprise environments. - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including: - Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID - RBAC - Privileged Identity Management (PIM) - Azure Policy - Microsoft Defender for Cloud - Network Security Groups (NSGs) - Cloud governance and cost optimisation - Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams. - Strong understanding of security governance, compliance and risk management. - Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning and production environment readiness. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - Fluent English.
