Job Description Cisco ACI L3 EngineerLocation: Chennai / Mumbai Experience: 812 Years Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Cisco ACI L3 Engineer with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise Data Center and SDN environments. The ideal candidate should possess deep hands-on experience in Cisco ACI, network architecture, routing & switching, security, and performance optimization within large-scale enterprise infrastructures.The candidate will be responsible for ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence across the network ecosystem while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring L1/L2 engineers.Educational Qualification BE / B.Sc IT / MCA / M.Sc (Computer Science / IT) or equivalent qualification. Experience Required 812 years of experience in Enterprise Network/Data Center Operations.Strong hands-on experience in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) is mandatory.Experience in handling complex enterprise network environments and SDN architecture.Experience working in large-scale Data Center environments. Mandatory Certification Cisco ACI Certification 300-620 DCACI (Mandatory) Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Design & Architecture Design, implement, and manage advanced enterprise network architectures ensuring high availability, scalability, reliability, and security.Build and optimize Cisco ACI-based Data Center solutions.Support SDN architecture planning, deployment, and operational activities. Cisco ACI Administration Configure and manage Cisco ACI fabrics, tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts, and policies.Troubleshoot ACI fabric, spine-leaf architecture, endpoint learning, and policy-related issues.Perform ACI upgrades, migrations, health checks, and optimization activities.Ensure proper integration of ACI with firewalls, virtualization platforms, and external networks. Performance Optimization Analyze network performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.Optimize network infrastructure for better performance, availability, and efficiency.Perform proactive monitoring and capacity planning. Security Management Implement and manage network security controls including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and segmentation policies.Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and audit requirements.Implement secure network access and policy enforcement mechanisms. Policy & Traffic Management Develop and enforce QoS policies and traffic engineering standards.Configure and maintain network policies within Cisco ACI and SDN environments.Ensure smooth traffic flow and optimized application performance. Operations & Support Handle L3 troubleshooting for critical network incidents and outages.Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for recurring issues.Support change management, implementation activities, and maintenance windows. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with cross-functional IT teams including Security, Server, Virtualization, and Cloud teams.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1/L2 engineers.Lead network implementation and migration projects. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with OEM vendors and service providers for escalations, support, and solution implementation.Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and customer meetings.
