Key Responsibilities Independently conduct case pricing using actuarial methodologies and effectively communicate findings with Underwriters and key stakeholdersEvaluate portfolio profitability through sophisticated techniques including Experience Rating and Exposure RatingDeliver technical insights that support financial performance management across various sub-portfoliosPerform advanced statistical analysis and data slicing on portfolios to uncover trends and opportunitiesPresent valuable findings to cross-functional teams including Portfolio Managers, Finance, Actuarial, and underwriting departmentsUpdate and refine pricing model parameters during actuarial rate reviews, with particular focus on our proprietary Fire costing modelEnhance existing models and develop innovative approaches for emerging risks and perilsManage data pipelines and transformations for analytics, model reviews, and continuous improvementsContribute to yearly planning exercises by providing actuarial insights that support business strategy About The Team We are a global team of Actuaries spread across Bangalore, Munich, Zurich, Manchester, London, New York, Windsor and Kansas City. As part of the Underwriting Unit reporting directly to the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), we play a critical role in business decision-making. About You You're an analytical problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys translating complex data into actionable business insights.
