About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in MS SQL, Healthcare Data Modeling & Integration, and Statistics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure, implementing automated system health checks, and developing continuous integration pipelines. Your expertise will enable us to analyze complex healthcare datasets, support data-driven decision-making, and contribute to our initiatives in value-based care, population health, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Healthcare Operations, Finance, Clinical, and Quality to translate complex data into actionable insights. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with US Healthcare analytics, including benefits, claims, and eligibility data, is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing healthcare datasets, along with familiarity with Snowflake, MySQL, and modern data warehousing concepts. Experience in creating healthcare process and data flow documentation using tools such as Microsoft Visio or similar is essential. Additionally, candidates should have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills, coupled with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities The key responsibilities for this role include analyzing large-scale US healthcare datasets, including claims, eligibility, provider, utilization, and quality data, to generate insightful reports and support strategic initiatives. You will write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from relational databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Performing data validation, reconciliation, and transformation will be critical to support accurate reporting aligned with business and regulatory requirements. You will work with Snowflake, MySQL, and related platforms to support healthcare data models, data marts, and analytics layers. Collaborating with data engineering teams, you will ensure the reliable ingestion and integration of data from various source systems such as claims processing, provider systems, and eligibility feeds. Supporting initiatives related to value-based care, population health, quality improvement, and operational efficiency will be a core part of your role. Creating process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io will be necessary to document healthcare data workflows. You will also be responsible for documenting healthcare business rules, data definitions, metrics logic, and reporting methodologies to standardize metrics across programs and reporting frameworks. Partnering with stakeholders across Healthcare Operations, Finance, Clinical, Quality, and Compliance teams, you will translate complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights. Presenting findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams will be essential to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.
