L2 Security Engineer Imperva DAM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced L2 Security Engineer with hands-on expertise in Imperva Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, administration, troubleshooting, alert handling, policy support, and operational maintenance of enterprise DAM infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage Imperva DAM infrastructure. Configure and maintain DAM monitoring policies and alert rules. Monitor database activities and privileged user actions. Analyze suspicious database activities and security alerts. Support DAM agent deployment and configuration. Fine-tune DAM policies to minimize false positives. Investigate database security alerts and incidents. Support SOC teams in incident analysis and remediation. Generate operational and audit reports. Platform Support & Troubleshooting Troubleshoot DAM connectivity, agent, and monitoring issues. Support installation, upgrades, and patching activities. Monitor DAM server health and performance. Perform backup and restoration activities. Coordinate with database and infrastructure teams for issue resolution. Compliance & Reporting Support compliance monitoring for PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOX, and HIPAA. Generate compliance and audit reports. Ensure database monitoring aligns with security policies. Required Skills Hands-on experience with Imperva DAM solutions. Knowledge of database security monitoring concepts. Experience with alert management, policy tuning, and security event analysis. Understanding of Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases. Basic Windows/Linux administration knowledge. Experience with SIEM integration and log analysis. Preferred Certifications Imperva DAM Certification Security+ CEH (Preferred) ITIL Foundation Experience & Qualification 36 years of cybersecurity or database security experience. Minimum 2+ years of DAM administration/support experience. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Positive to Have Experience with Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel. Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Knowledge of compliance frameworks. .
