Security & Auth: Implement robust security and data protection protocols (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, sanitization). Testing & Quality: Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (using Jest, Mocha, or Chai). Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and query latency. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: [2-5+] years of professional backend software development experience. Core Expertise: Proficient in Node.js and asynchronous programming models. Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify. Language Skills: Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Database Knowledge: Hands-on experience with ORMs/ODMs (Prisma, TypeORM, Mongoose) and relational/non-relational databases. DevOps & Cloud: Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Version Control: Proficiency with Git and standard collaborative workflows (pull requests, code reviews). Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, BullMQ). Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue) for full-stack collaboration. Understanding of WebSockets for real-time applications.
