Senior Software Engineer, Test Infrastructure Experience: Not Available to Not Available years Location: Israel, Yokneam Skills: Linux, Docker, CI/CD, telemetry, logging, data pipelines, automated analysis frameworks, power supplies, thermal solutions, instrumentation control Company Overview NVIDIA is defining the next era of computing through advances in accelerated computing, AI, and high-performance systems. Our teams build technologies that power some of the most demanding platforms in the world, and we are looking for engineers who can turn ambitious ideas into scalable, reliable solutions. Integrated Circuit Product Engineering (ICPE) plays a key role in bringing NVIDIA networking products from early development through production. This role focuses on building the testing infrastructure that helps networking products move from early bring-up through production release, with robust emphasis on power and performance. What youll be doing: Architect and build a scalable software-based test infrastructure for networking hardware, with emphasis on power and performance coverage across the product lifecycle from bring-up to production release. Develop autonomous and agentic workflows that orchestrate test execution, system initialization, measurement, monitoring, logging, data collection, and analysis with minimal manual intervention. Create the software layers around test content, including scheduling, execution control, telemetry pipelines, result handling, and data processing frameworks. Integrate lab equipment such as power supplies, thermal solutions, and related instrumentation into a unified automation environment. Enable high-throughput, high-quality engineering workflows by connecting the infrastructure to CI/CD systems, release flows, and quality gates. Partner closely with hardware, firmware, product engineering, and lab teams to improve coverage, reliability, and observability across complex networking platforms. Drive software design and engineering best practices for maintainability, scalability, and long-term platform evolution. What we need to see: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including significant experience designing and building complex systems or infrastructure. Proven experience architecting and building test infrastructure, automation platforms, or other engineering systems at scale. Strong track record building production-quality software in Linux environments with high standards for reliability, maintainability, observability, and system-level debugging. Experience developing infrastructure in cloud environments and with Docker-based workflows. Strong experience with CI/CD, automated quality gates, and software delivery best practices. Experience designing orchestration, workflow, or agentic systems for multi-step technical processes. Experience with telemetry, logging, measurement, data pipelines, and automated analysis frameworks, and ability to work effectively across software, hardware, firmware, and lab teams. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience with networking products or high-performance connectivity platforms. Background in hardware systems, lab environments, or instrumentation control. Experience with power, thermal, and performance characterization frameworks. Familiarity with large-scale automation for bring-up, qualification, or production-oriented engineering flows. .

Here's how to pick the right one and stand out in your application.

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
