Job Description: JOB DESCRIPTION of Production Support Team (Team Leader) Job Title: Team Leader (DM II) Department: Information Technology Reports to: Associate Vice President IT (PMT) Experience: 8-10 Years Required Qualification: BE/BTech/MSc-IT/MCA Preferred Qualification: ITIL Certification (at least V3) Skill, Knowledge & Trainings: a. Should have sound and working knowledge of programing languages i.e., Java, C++ b. Good understanding of basic architecture of a trading system especially Forex Trading c. A certification in ITIL processes (at least level V3) is desirable d. Sound skills in troubleshooting issues w.r.t Trading Systems e. Having operating knowledge i.e., implementation and application monitoring, using state of the art Application Monitoring Systems like Elasticsearch, App Dynamics etc. f. Should have good understanding and experience of conducting BCP (Business Continuity Process) drills and real time BCP activation Core Competencies: a. The candidate is expected to have sound technical knowledge & experience in handling trading systems and its functions b. Sound skills in troubleshooting issues w.r.t Trading Systems c. Should have sound and working knowledge of programing languages i.e., Java, C++ Functional Competencies: The candidate is expected to have good understanding of financial products particularly Forex Trading platforms Job Purpose: The role is crucial for ensuring that the trading systems at is operational with minimal business downtime Area of Operations Key Responsibility Production Support ActivitiesBCP ActivitiesAssisting in finding RCA for issues / incidents pertaining to assigned systems To ensure Level 1 (L1) support to trading systems such as Forex-Retail, Forex-Options by performing L1 support activities such as:Beginning of Day (BOD) ActivitiesIntra-day application monitoringEnd of Day (EOD) ActivitiesBCP Switch over & Switch Back SupportTroubleshooting & AnalysisLiaison with other IT teams such as Server admin, Network, DBA teamsMaintaining production SOPs & deploying production releasesInvestigating users queries via database queries using SQL, application log file analysis, Order & Trade issues, application flow breaks .
