About the Role We are looking for a Accountant with 2-5 years of experience to strengthen our finance, accounting, compliance, taxation, MIS, and financial-control functions. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants to work closely with founders and business teams in a fast-growing QSR environment. Key Responsibilities Manage monthly and annual books closure across outlets and business entities Review accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations, expenses, receivables, and payables Ensure timely GST, TDS, income-tax, and other statutory compliances Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities Prepare monthly MIS, outlet-wise profitability, cash-flow reports, and management dashboards Monitor food cost, outlet expenses, gross margins, contribution margins, and operational variances Strengthen internal controls for purchases, inventory, cash, billing, refunds, discounts, and vendor payments Conduct outlet-level financial reviews and identify revenue leakage or cost-control opportunities Support budgeting, forecasting, fundraising due diligence, and financial modelling Review vendor agreements, payment terms, taxation implications, and commercial documentation Support implementation and improvement of accounting, POS, inventory, and ERP systems Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness across all outlets Assist the leadership team in evaluating new outlets, cities, formats, and expansion opportunities Preferred Candidate Profile - Strong understanding of accounting standards, GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance - Valuable command over Excel, financial modelling, MIS, and data analysis - Experience in QSR, food and beverage, retail, hospitality, FMCG, or multi-outlet businesses is preferred - Exposure to inventory accounting, food costing, outlet profitability, or POS reconciliation will be an advantage - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led organization - Strong ownership, attention to detail, commercial thinking, and problem-solving ability - Willingness to work hands-on and visit outlets whenever required Why Join Wah!
