Job Title: SAP ABAP Custom Code Lead Experience: 5+ Years Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (C2H) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Custom Code Lead to design, develop, and manage custom ABAP developments across SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in ABAP programming, code optimization, and technical leadership, with experience in delivering high-quality custom solutions aligned with business requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead SAP ABAP custom development activities across implementation, enhancement, and support projects. Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design documents. Develop and maintain RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows). Perform custom code reviews, optimization, and performance tuning. Design and develop Reports, ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, BDC, BAPI, RFC, IDocs, User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, and Module Pool programming. Work closely with Functional Consultants to deliver business solutions. Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices. Support unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production deployments. Mentor junior ABAP developers and provide technical guidance. Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities. Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. Strong expertise in Custom ABAP Development. Experience with RICEFW developments. Hands-on experience with Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, BDC, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms. Knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP). Experience in performance tuning and debugging. Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA concepts is preferred. Familiarity with CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and SAP Fiori integrations is an added advantage. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. .
