We are looking for an accomplished Senior Director of DevOps to lead the organization's DevOps, platform engineering, and cloud infrastructure strategy. This leadership role is ideal for someone who has successfully built and scaled engineering platforms that enable high-velocity software delivery while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence. You will define the DevOps vision, drive engineering best practices, and build a world-class platform that empowers development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient products. Responsibilities: Define and execute the enterprise-wide DevOps and platform engineering strategy.Build, mentor, and lead high-performing DevOps, SRE, and Cloud Engineering teams.Design and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.Drive automation across infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and operational processes.Establish best practices for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, observability, and release management.Improve platform reliability, availability, resilience, and operational efficiency through SRE principles.Lead Kubernetes platform strategy, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecture initiatives.Collaborate closely with engineering, product, security, and architecture leadership to align platform capabilities with business objectives.Define operational KPIs, SLAs, SLOs, and reliability metrics while driving continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with security, governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity standards.Evaluate emerging technologies and implement modern DevOps practices to improve engineering productivity. Requirements: 16+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering.Proven experience leading large-scale DevOps and platform engineering organizations.Strong expertise in AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes and container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar), and Docker and container technologies.Deep understanding of SRE practices, observability, incident management, and production operations.Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, Splunk, or similar.Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and compliance.Experience building highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems.Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Good to Have: Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).Knowledge of policy-as-code and security automation.Experience implementing FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.Experience supporting AI/ML platforms or large-scale data platforms.
