DPMI Vocational Institute is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Engineer to manage and maintain the institute's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess solid technical expertise in networking, hardware and software troubleshooting, CCTV surveillance systems, and end-user support. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. Manage and monitor LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and internet connectivity. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and antivirus solutions. Administer and monitor CCTV surveillance systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR devices, and access control systems. Perform preventive maintenance of IT equipment and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Manage user accounts, email configuration, data backup, and system security. Coordinate with external vendors for IT procurement, AMC, and technical support when required. Maintain IT asset records and documentation. Provide prompt technical support to faculty, staff, and management. Eligibility Criteria Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management. Solid knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Routers, Switches). Expertise in Hardware and Software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Hands-on experience with CCTV/IP Camera installation, configuration, and maintenance. Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic server administration. Valuable communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills Experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage. Knowledge of firewall configuration, network security, and data backup solutions. Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure. .
