Senior Plant Procurement Manager

ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end procurement activities for plant operations, including raw materials, engineering spares, consumables, MRO items, capital equipment, Manpower contracts and outsourced services, ensuring timely availability and uninterrupted production.Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers by obtaining quotations, conducting techno-commercial evaluations, negotiating pricing and commercial terms, finalizing contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement in line with business objectives.Coordinate closely with production, maintenance, engineering, stores, finance, quality, and vendors to plan procurement requirements, expedite deliveries, resolve supply-related issues, and maintain optimal inventory levels.Lead and mentor the plant procurement team, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, build capabilities, and drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Monitor procurement performance and compliance by tracking purchase orders, vendor deliveries, documentation, statutory requirements, procurement MIS, and vendor performance, while driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service levels. .
